Although specialized in plastics, Coalia offers various equipment and significant potential for the rubber sector. Phoenix Innovation will present insights on innovative models applied to the entire industry. In this presentation, the company will share its strategic vision for a future focused on the circular economy, highlighting the key steps and initiatives it plans to implement to facilitate the establishment of effective circular loops.

Presentation of the support tools from Investissement Québec to enhance the sustainable productivity of businesses

The presentation by Hojjat Mahi Hassanabadi, Senior Innovation Expert Advisor at Investissement Québec, will cover the various ways businesses can improve their sustainable productivity. Specifically, he will introduce practical tools to optimize resource use, improve the profitability of industrial processes, and promote the implementation of a circular economy: Material Flow Cost Analysis, Industrial Waste Circularity, Product Environmental Impact, and Sustainable Productivity Action Plans

Workshop on Missing Links, led by the circular economy advisors from the City of Sherbrooke and the Memphrémagog MRC

Building on the information gathered on the ground regarding waste since our last Exchange Circle, this workshop, led by Benjamin Gauthier and Laurence Bourduas, will aim to refine the circular economy scenarios from the study. Participants will have the opportunity to identify the missing links and propose concrete initiatives to strengthen sustainable practices within the sector
